I'm very surprised to notice that this over-a-decade favourite of mine was voice-acted by the magnificent late John "TotalBiscuit" Bain. Rest in Peace, friend.
That was a quite unfortunate pick for the Badge of the Day for April 15th 2019 considering Crush the Castle is a game where you destroy medieval architecture and Notre-Dame de Paris just burned down.
This game needs at least one restart turn button per mission. The objectives are so tight that one small mistake or one misclick might make a strategy you cerafully crafted for the last 10 minutes totally useless and meaningless. You can botch a mission by clicking one small hex on the map instead of adjacent small hex. And you can never correct it. That's awful. Apart from that one glowing problem in design the game is great.
Tevoran's lines are the stuff of legend. This series is so well written. It's a crime Mezzanine doesn't work in movies or TV. This is like Tarantino quality.
This game runs like crap. Few enemies on screen while I strife and my crosshairs bug out and then the lag starts to the point of game freezing for 20 seconds. It's an indicator of a badly coded game, as other intense games on this site don't lag like that for me.
