I would like to be able to change lures without having to quit fishing. I would also like a quick retrieve button so if I made a stupid cast or used the wrong lure I don't have to slowly reel it back in.
Casting entirely off the screen is a bit annoying. As is the fact that many of my lures just drag along the bottom until they're virtually underneath me and the fish don't seem to be interested it in once it is too close to the dock.
Very fun game. With a little work, it could be one of my favorites. The fish breeding isn't exactly clear, but appears to happen on its own. The lures don't seem to make much of a difference. Getting all the lake and river monsters is such a big task that it stops you from enjoying the rest of the game. It would appear you can really only catch monsters by catching smaller fish and letting them swim around until a monster bites. That makes it tough because some fish don't eat but one other fish.
I was all excited in finishing story 2 because I figured I could restart the story but with my new levels of attack. Apparently that isn't an option. Can it be?
I was working on something like this for a new release but I had to cancel it and start planning a sequel due to some personal stuff that's come up. There will be much more opportunity for prestiging in the sequel
Two and a half months in and I am still playing this game and having fun. I hope you continue to add to it because idle games don't typically hold my attention this long.
If you're looking for more money, buy the cat idol and go to the next location as soon as possible. The money gets better at each place. If you're having issues going to the next area, you not only need money but need to have found enough items at each of the previous locations.
MEGA-DYNAMITE needs a tweak. It costs 50 boots and removes 5 per square. Regular sticks cost 5, 10, 20... and remove 20 per square. So at this point, you should avoid the MEGA at all costs.
yes - as you dig further more squares contain money. So less boots. Let me chew this one over and ammend things in the morn when I'm back in the office !
The boot discovery rate is a little too small. I have 58/84 items so I've gone fairly far. I never bought any TNT and only have 749 boots at this point and am finding maybe one or two per level. Is this something that anyone else feels like there is a need to tweak? It will take a long time to get the assistants bone capable and the coin hoover is super expensive to pick up dimes.
aha - have you unlocked all 4 digs ? & yes, considering what it does, the coin hoover is a tad expensive - Might roll it back to it's 2004 price tomorrow.
BONES!!! Please comment on the bone situation. Until that is resolved, this can never be played idle as assistants just won't find bones. As it stands, I've reset yet again to try to find the bones on my own and in Cairo, I have 9 items but hardly any bones and I don't even have the assistants missing them on my behalf. Please comment on the bones situation.
Hello - next week I'll make those lazy butt-munches bone-seeking for some absurd amount of gold ! - been ill this week so haven't had much time. Yes you're right btw - bones are only findable by human clickering..
I stand corrected. The scanner isn't the issue. If you click to reveal an object, it is probably 5% bone - 45% boot - 50% coin. If the assistant reveals the object it is probably 50% boot - 50% coin. Would be a lot more fun if that wasn't the case. Also, the scanner is pointless and the lucky mascot doesn't appear to do much if anything.
A little explanation: All your Kongpanions have words associated with them such as animal, food, red, etc. You see those words if you mouse over them while they're helping you. If you upgrade those words they work harder for you. If you upgrade them to level 65, they are maxed and can help the most by resting less often and clearing more bits at a time.
I feel like the AI could use another tweak. It has gotten a lot better, but it still could improve. It seems to have a hard time if the jar is in the second row from the bottom. Does it actively look for the pair with a x2 on it to click on? Also, if there is nothing below the jar to click on, if it would look for options from the bottom up instead of the top down it might help make progress a bit more quickly.
@Arctype Well, it could be different depending on how many universes you've gone through, but I did math and get each type to the following levels: 1-1-1-16-skip-5-10-23. Skipping the cat may be the trick. You don't have to wait for any of that process.
