I agree with the others, the moving spike strips are kinda lame, and the crash physics are making a successful run simply a random roll of the dice. There doesn't seem to be any skill required to win a particular stage, it's all about what things randomly pop up in your face. So while I loved this game at first, it's pretty firmly on the boring shelf at the moment.
Until there are instructions on how to actually make any progress in this game, I'm going to have to say it sucks a$$. You spend an hour trying to build up enough cash to buy upgrades, then you get it and it makes no difference. The briefcase is a stupid idea, it needs hotkeys for the various air attack areas, each upgrade should be 5x more effective and it might start to approach fun.
Anybody else have display issues? Everything else on Kong runs flawlessly, but on this game all the menus are outside the play window, so finding the play button was a major challenge. And then while playing the game it looks like there is some kind of counter in the bottom right of the window, but I can only see the top-left 20 pixels of it
Wow, after all the build-up, this game kinda blows. It takes WAY too long to finish a game. The animation/graphics are downright boring, and the strategy isn't really that great. And their advertised comparison to Street Figther is completely misleading. SF was an action game! This is like all the worst parts of the Final Fantasy games rolled into one.
Yeah... wow... this game is really pretty awful. I understand why there are so many negative comments. Too much luck/randomness, and just overall frustrating. It starts too hard and just ramps up to impossible from there. And if you do finally win, it's not very satifying. It needs an upgrade system or special attacks or SOMETHING more than "launch x flowers every y seconds".
