This game could be so much better, but the tutorial is so boring. Quit holding my hand. I just want to experiment with the elements and see what happens. And the timers for building structures tell me that eventually you're going to ask for money to speed things up. I'm out.
I tried this one for a couple days, but I just can't handle how many clicks it takes to smith something. Maybe I'm missing something, but that process is really painful and I just can't see myself sticking around unless it's a little more streamlined. I get that it's supposed to be incremental and get better as you progress, but it's a lot of button pressing for very little reward.
awffle- there are merchants on some levels that sell you equipment, potions, etc. Also, trainers that sell skill points and talent points. Also priests that will heal you for only 10 gold. The merchants will show up as red dots on your mini map, kind of like monsters, but they don't move.
@Stephen595 I will keep a lookout for that message. So far, the only one I've noticed is the message about a noise in the distance of the gate shutting.
I don't understand the timed gate mechanic. It seems like I enter a floor and the gate shuts without explaining how I can get through it next time. It's confusing, in my opinion.
It would be nice if I could go back a level. I passed a level and made 5k gold, but at the next level I'm dying and only making 1.5k. It makes grinding a little more frustrating than it needs to be.
I really like this game and I think it has a lot of potential. I think it would be great if there was a skills tree so we could personalize our character. I like that we get to upgrade skills and it would be great if they unlocked other skills (I just started, so maybe they do and I just haven't gotten that far yet). Can we also get a girl shaped figure, too?
Found a bug. If you use the spell that increases your attack by 100% and then go to the next level without attacking anything, your attack decreases dramatically. Mine went from 20something to 6.
