ericnelsonmelby - No, you just have to make it so that the lower half flowers are fully grown, whereas the top flowers have only been watered one time. Then sprinkle on grass seeds, water a single time, and the top ones will be fully grown and the bottom ones will perish.
Tekha - The white bucket is a small bucket and only paints the lower half :)

Just stay to the left pretty much all the time. When he shoots his laser, just stand behind him and spam A. If he shoots it from the right, hit the tombstones, and then jump on the top platform after he shoots the first time. The two skull forms are very easy, as you should now be level 4 - just keep to the left and hit it when you get the chance.
