It is completely possible to beat level 27 on kongregate. The game snake will still be in the upper left hand corner. Just collect 5 of the little circles without dying.
Games against Xyloxi take too long, with most of their structures able to increase their HP to insane levels. They are still possible to beat, but it get really boring to play a 30 minute game, especially since some of their structures can repair their base for free every turn.
