This game excites me because of how well it works despite being so early in development. Something I hope for is giving army-members enormous spell books (I'm talking an obnoxious amount... like any MMO). Maybe every time they class up they gain a specific spell? Y'all probably already have a good idea of what you want to do.
Much of the charm of a game like this is allowing the small minions to do as they please without worrying too much about micro-management. I would prefer to have to do as little as I please without worrying about inefficiency. That isn't to say that I would oppose AI modifications like getting healers to wait until a target is 80% to heal or something like that. That could be part of an AI overhaul rather than a system of AI modification.
A suggestion I might have would be to add personalities to the minions that would be seen through small sparse speech bubbles that reflect their personalities. Might be cute.
Two bugs immediately apparent to me:
The dice timer carries over to the next player's turn. For example, if player 1 rolls a 3, player 2 can spam the space button in order to get a 3 again. Maybe it would be best to allow the game to be completely random on the dice roll.
There should be a "draw" for the duel minigame.
I like this game. It's a bit hard to quantify how powerful I am because the numbers are so big! I recommend smaller numbers... level 3 and doing 10k is a bit much! There are some other UI enhacements that could use work. A save button on the map screen would be good.
I'm sure I'm not alone on this. But there is a certain cheer from the crowd that is so jarring! It hurts my ears and it sounds like some lady or something. Please throw her in the gladiator pit and have her executed.
If you're on a screen where you can't click next because you have reached the max level for that skill, look at the top right corner and you will find the "x close" button.
