Have you considered synchronizing ship building. Fighters particularly are comically useless because unless you build lots of them at once with pause they will arrive to battle one by one and get shot before they could do any harm. If fighter deployment would be determinated by one timer instead of fighter bay specific they would be far more useful.

Game needs some kind of interface to alert player about shortfall of those two things.
Interesting concept, but game is too tiresome: you just flip through screens and nothing exiting happen. Lack of descriptions for options make thing confusing.
Concentrate your forces on taking over towers. They are not that good on foot and as you probably noticed one can't use unltimate ability without towers.
It is possible to assign everybody on defending and then remove them when their other services required. But it is tedious. I suggest alter game so idle survivors will automatically assigned to defense when zombies attack. After all - that's logical.]
Second, I need indicator of risk to fort on main screen badly.
