Ginga-3000 is such a random mech. If you get the right skills early on you might be able to buff evade and charge attack, which is usually enough to 1-hit the opponent but not always. Otherwise its simply inferior to anything else and dies pretty fast.
It is interesting because its a naruto game, keeping cloe to the feel and happenings of the anime series. As far as gameplay goes it is the well known click-and-autorun between quest locations game. You get to choose between different ninjas with different skills, which makes it feel more like a game but in the end overall power is more important than skills combination. Its nice because it is naruto themed but it doesn't hold a candle to actual naruto games like naruto-arena for ex.
(nice CG thumbnail) + (game is on hot new games) + (less than 3 stars rating, but still somehow a "hot new game") = R2's latest piece of crap. I don't even need to play their "games" anymore.
I saw this on the "hot new games". 2.8 stars. I came here for the salty comments and nothing else, good to see R2 still doesn't disappoint making an ass of itself.
The previous games of the series were really fun but this just doesn't add up to them :( Its quite grindy and quite laggy as well, on my old laptop. This is flash, would it be too hard to add an option to lower quality?
How longer things like this (cause its not a game, i don't know what it is) will keep being made? I mean, I feel bad for all the people that worked to make it, its such a waste of nice looking artwork and music, code too, i guess.
a swords and souls promo brought me back to this game... Is it in hopes I will start playing it again? The energy system is still here... Its like giving aspirin to a dead man.
Don't rate this game before the first six hours of gameplay. It starts fun and then becomes the usual energy struggle while the difficulty rumps up creating an increasingly stronger need to buy gems. Just another bad apple in the tons of games like this that keep appearing.
The game would be 5 starts for sure if it wasn't for the energy system. Thanks for letting us play it for 2-3 hours before you have us quit it forever.
This is obviously a not so elaborate game but its a pretty good try for this kind of game. Its true the hud could be smaller and on a different place but people who complain should really try playing the game a bit more. Bonus points for a magic system that lets the player create their own spells!
I loved this game and played as long as I could stand the pay to win design. Looking back, I try to return some times to have fun again till I discover again how ruined this great idea of a game is. You people need to understand no sensible person wants to give you money when you are intentionally holding back on the amount of fun your game is providing in order to get it. Take the example of great f2p games in kong like Card Hunter that offer all the fun with an open hand and get so much support without forcing anyone for it. Your own strife to make money is what holds you back.
mixone, you are absolutely correct. If we have to act like this to make developers change their money-hungry game designs then so we should do. Flagged, reported, one star.
I started playing this game and it looked totally cool until I noticed the little blue bar with the lightning... official badge of games not worth spending money on. Have your fun and once the energy bar is empty run and never look back!
R2 sucks. Their games suck, all of them. I dare you to find a game they made that is not a shameless cash grab and nothing more. That been said, thanks a lot kong for hosting these scammers that pose as game devs and constantly featuring them on the front page. No, we don't actually believe they are popular, there is not a single person that appreciates what they do, and you are welcome to search the comments on any of their games if you doubt that.
Thanks for the feedback, you're right that Ginga still needs some balance adjustment and it's on the way!
