melee units should have more of a reason for existing. I know they hit hard which makes them useful in some situations, but with the amount of flying + the fact that you can make ranged & magic units deal enough damage to take on anything. Maybe ranged and magic immune enemies? This would make the game tougher @.@ also the ability to sell or move units for when I make an "oh shit" would be very nice.
Rogue with trap avoidance skill would be nice. He could also have something that allows him to get bonus gold? I dunno I just like rogues. Maybe a Bard? Whose only ability is he unlocks bonus soundtracks? Make him the hardest unlock.
LOVE the storyline. Half-assed but intentionally so. Snarky and pleasing. I think theres more depth you could go into with these mechanics. Bigger maps, you can switch unit formation for diffrent results. Positioning should matter more. Also the dragon was so easy to farm for gold. Really like where this is going, and that you reply to comments with percision : P. Cant wait until you guys pop out a sequel.
I enjoyed the music. Games like these should have a selection of tracks though. I think that would be nice, maybe as some kind of unlock. Also other unlocks for competing acheivments. Decals, and other aestetics. New levels or back rounds something.
The comments annoyed me. Its like they know. I can build a bowling alley and so now they desperately need it? They say things like, great hotel...but it needs bowling (thumb down). I have never seen a hotel with bowling in it. Just because I can build it doesnt mean you have to have it jerks. This isnt an amusement park. Its a goshderned hotel.
P.S whoever keeps breaking that washingmachine is going to pay dearly, mark my words.
I played it for awhile and it was kind of fun. SOmeone please tell me why this is #1 cause I am pretty durn confused. You walk in a straight line and kill a fock ton of wolves in a game that is styled and based on world of warcraft but 100 times worse. The combat is slow repetitive turn based action and the level up system is completly linear. Everything in this game is a straight line. There isnt even a huge diffrence between classes. Also I cant see the stuff I wear, so it looks like nothing changes ever, and it took me forever to get any new weapons and im to goshdurn ADHD to handle that one. Straight lines the game! now with more wolves! stab stab stab. There I spoiled the whole game.
Im not sure if its just me, but I think some of my NPC opponents are cheating. What spell allows you to do a combined low attack and then fire a low and high attack and then use a special ability spell in one turn?!
the entire point of this game was the story I guess, and it was not a very good one. Thers a pile of games out there that are like "artsy" games. At the end of those I dont at least feel like ive wasted half an hour, the storyline ends with, oh hey the world blew up, oh hey the doctor with the answers blew up, oh your family blew up you should be blew up STAY IN A HOLE. So why the heck should I care about the bouncing square people? What was the point of playing this? It was kinda funny to see the one guy hung up, I wonder how he did that?
first off let me say, this game is awesome. A sequel I think would be a hundred times better in addition to what everyone else has said I would like more opponents, maybe the option to buy new theme decks and maybe in the shop theres like 5 random cards you can buy for a price that change every once in awhile. I really want to see this get polished up cause you do some damn good work.
