Interesting mechanics. I would suggest that you could also activate the fire by pressing the E key (or some other key), since I play with a touch pad and it is not always convenient to use the "left mouse" button.

Great game! I have only beaten a couple of levels, but I am sure to finish this game.
One suggestion, make it possible to pause by either hitting the "p" or "esc" key.
BUG: I used a teleport scroll when a thrower showed up, and since I had forgot to open a new square I couldn't teleport him and couldn't cancel the spell
It would be good if there was a diamond, similar to the ruby, that is rarer to find but gives +1 permanent strength. It becomes rather boring to grind through the first levels just to get the strength you will need further down.
It would be nice if there was a merchant where you could trade wood for metal and metal for wood. For example in a system of 5:1 wood/metal ratio and a 2:1 metal/wood ratio
Way tooooooo much text. I know that good character development is important, and so is a nice story, but the truth is there is just too much text. I started the game yesterday I stopped playing after the 1st level/tutorial. I started again today and after one level again you give me 2039120 lines of speech again. Don't get me wrong, I played a couple of FF until the end and I don't mind my game having a huge story, because it is well intertwined with the game. Here you have huge sections of text followed by a level.
The story didn't catch me, and so didn't the gameplay.

-20 energy per mission is to high. I remember the first levels, where you could actually play the game more for more then 5 minutes before you ran out of energy, now I can only win 5/7 rounds per level. It's not even a level every time I come to play.
Add a sorting system for the cards, not only based on factions and card type but also one for:
1) Rarity - a 4 button rarity, for common, uncommon, rare and unique
2) Ability - a button for each ability that would only display cards that have that ability. example: Click on evade button. Only cards with evade would be displayed.
You should be able to use the same cards on different decks and there should be a way to trade cards with other players. Also, there should be a way to buy war bonds with gold. For example 500 gold for a war bond.
