I think the prestige system is just fine. It is a bit anoying that you have to recraft your equipement and to relearn your skills, but the permanent bonusses you can get by presteging, and trying out other characters are worth it .
Click clock goes the clock,,Sure you can waych the numbers rise,, Trie going outside and discover a world of wonders..I guess if you want to get into programming one of the basic lessons is to make an Idle game..Now make a compelling interresting game instead,,
I had to take a 5 year break...This is definitely the best TD ever made (with gemcraft beeing second) Sad to hear the creator (Gaby) passed on..He/She was truely something remarkable.
Really hate the thing that the game doesn't keep up with actual time ( apparently due to browser lag ) Never had a game with this problem before. They should call this game Reloading Firestone.... (seriously...reloading the game as part of the game-mechanic is kinda lame...)
Love this game, wish there was an endless mode (because the end is kinda underwhelming after building your character up for 2 hours or so) Unfair deaths are part of the game, I guess ( went downn to the core...ok, lava...took 1 step and got ambushed by 3 firespitting swimming snake thingies...RIP...), but I'm still playing
Forced progression. You can only get better if you stay online 24-24. The rewards if you do aren't that great. Had a good time laughing at the guys taking this game seriously.
Nice game, definitely worth expanding on. The runs do get a bit repetative. The chance that a run succeeds is highly dependant on the rolls luck get on the looted equipement. If you can't find a decent bow, your run is basically a fail, because there are many monsters you don't want to melee (ghouls, exploding monsters etc...) A scroll with a magic attack would also be nice :)
Next achievement: Play for 10.534 years...Better write a letter to my grand-grand-grand-grand-grand-grand-grand-grand-grand-grand-grand-grand-son, or go into cryo stasis for a bunch of centuries..:P
Clever new version of the all to familiar skinner box...(Google it, you dimwit...) Watching numbers grow doesn't really help the world to be a better place...does it..?
The very idea of any idle game is becoming stronger repeating the same thing. It is what makes idle games fun.
