I thought the first one was a solid base game and this one is much better! I think part of what is nice about these two games is how simple they are, so I wonder what you can do in the next one. This game still has the issue that farming easier monsters even after you are strong enough to beat that floor's boss is a good idea. I would like to see the bosses give you larger rewards so you can feel good about progressing! Great work on this one!
Really glad you decided to make a sequel! The levels in this game weren't quite as simple which I liked a lot! I was also happy to find that the guards won't shoot you while they are falling this time around. I personally don't like the mechanic of hiding secrets in unmarked walls, but other than that I think this series is on its way to becoming a really good game! 5/5
I think if you want to tempt people to get the full version, you should at least show off that you can make actual puzzles out of the mechanics that you have put in place. Mechanics controls and sound are great though!
You are right Gorigomi. We had a plan to make more stages. This version is the first time to upload this site. Later version will be launched someday. Thanks for your comments and playing.
Would be nice to have immediate access to some hard levels. Pretty tedious to go through all of the simple levels, especially since this kind of puzzle is super common in video games. Loved the UI/SFX controls etc, just the gameplay is pretty uninspired and repetitive. I think just having more complicated/larger puzzles would help, as I love similarly repetitive picture games like Picma.
I thought this was definitely an improvement from the first game! I personally am not a super big fan of puzzle games where the only puzzle is looking for what you can do (as opposed to what you should do, or figuring out what is even possible). I thought you improved on the puzzle aspects on this one from the first game though! I thought the visual of the hooks, especially where there are multiple hook on adjacent block, was visually confusing. Also would be nice to not have a click + drag every single block, especially near the end of a level, but that's probably more of a PC problem than a mobile one! Overall glad you decided to keep improving the game! 4/5
Great game! I somehow got to the first level without actually figuring out what the goal of the game was though. I had to scroll down to the instructions on the Kong site.
I think if you have a game with upgrades then it should not be the case that you can just play through the only 5 levels on your first go through. Both the in-stage powerups and enemies are too powerful, meaning that the best strategy is just to wait for special or attack ups then clear everything.
Seems to be well designed until the gameplay sets in. The fact that there are so many solutions to each puzzle (at least in 2-4) means that guessing just works. If you are really invested in having ambiguous puzzles then I think it would be good to have a guessing interface (at least one more way to mark circles). I think more constraints would be another (better) alternative. I think if your puzzle game doesn't lead to interesting puzzles then you should keep working on it instead of publishing the game. 1/5.
Awesome idea and implementation. It felt like I was playing a much simpler game very similar to portal, which is a great puzzle game with depth like this. I hope you polish this into a larger game or have someone else do so!
I keep having the problem where I respec and then have no spells equipped when I enter a new level. I have to wait till I level up again to actually get spells
Confusing how the red no jump light only appears only at the end of platforms, it seems like it should be after a certain amount of fueling or not at all, or always
Great game! I'm getting the problem that sometimes the launched orb acts differently, for example when I have a completely stationary setup sometimes it hits all of the bars and sometimes it does not. The bars are pretty close together, but it seems like it should act the same every time.
