I played it again to see if i could speed through/sequence break, and i kinda like the fact that you can brute force or guess the solutions. They're actually unsolvable unless you have the tools or have somehow seen the solution (even if you don't know it)
Save up your gems for the 8x's, and then the 2x's. Everything else is a waste. Time blocks might be tempting, but I've maxed mine through achievements alone, and time skips are short-term gains. The current wall is the last levels of the last two girls.. I have level 40 everything and it'll take 2 days to get to the next level (I need 50)
Game breaking (sorta) tip. The quickest way to make money is to draw a wall fixture between its head and body, then pull up by the head. You can also add an object such as a barrel to drag the head behind. I racked up 30k in under a minute because it kept hurting itself trying to snap the head back to the body.
The bounce ability is fine, it's directly affected by your trajectory. But, I'd argue that the game is a little TOO easy. I was going levels at a time without going to the store, and even when I did it was just to speed the game up. Dodgy mushroom was the most annoying aspect. It was cute the first time, but after that I dreaded it more than the spikes. Maybe the slow down was to give us more control over the bounce, but I found it more annoying than anything. I mean, the lack of interaction makes the levels drag out enough as it is, I don't need to happen at half-speed.
tl;dr fastest way through the game is Craft x2. Also definitely invest in lightening as it homes.
Craft x2 is very game breaking; especially if you start using it early. I found myself idling through perfect levels. I actually got impatient waiting for wartrake to blow up my ship. My preferred is lightening + laser and vulcan + beam. Lightening homes, laser does constant damage across the screen. Vulcan is fast, beam pierces.
this game has so much potential but is hindered by its awful lag. data leaks on data leaks on top of its sometimes crippling glitches. the creator is obviously satisfied with this product and has no intentions on fixing its flaws. Have to vote this down.
I put my front two cats as melee and my back two with projectiles. I then tanked out my front two with lots of health and rear with lots of attack. Your cat could have 100 attack and still die from one hit. Just make sure you put an occasional point for stamina, they can start later levels with NO stamina if you neglect it. Lastly, NEVER jump into an enemy. Your cats get trapped in a world of hit boxes and take massive damage while only dealing one hit themselves.
The most important factors to beating this game are helm, engine, grain, star(speed), and cluster. After launching i held down space, put on helm just before level 2, and just continued to boost my way to the end. I went from barely passing level 3 to beating the game this way. I tried this early in a new file (because i have no life) and made money much faster. But I would recommend putting at ;east a single point in money asap.
Lightness is useless because it becomes impossible to fall to the bottom very early on, wire weight does almost nothing, and armor's early upgrades make little impact and is not worth maxing out. Only invest if you have money to throw away. Otherwise invest in aero. Energy also becomes impossible to expend after about 3 points if you put a point in corn; I would die with no less than half a bar due to being star-boosted into surprise enemies.
Short and sweet. Some tolls are just shortcuts, so if you're trying to beat it asap drive around a bit so you don't waste the money. Beat it without the final upgrades. This can easily be finished in a single sitting but I like it better than games like shopping cart hero that have excruciating grinds and steep learning curves. There's a little bug that can cause your movement to get stuck (moving without any buttons being pressed) and when I first loaded the game no fish appeared. I thought I had to sit and wait. That being said, please make more.
You can't defeat the dragon without a divine edge. So make sure you have at least 200 gold on you in case you come across one. If you can, buy a golden ticket in lieu of an upgrade. They boost your gold reward bonus. I was lucky enough to get 3 and I was able to max out completely. Also, if possible wait until two armor/sword upgrades at the same time, you get them at the same price and the price only goes up by one. Armor also heals you; I got through only using my beginning elixir.
