Good thing this game had an easy achievement, because it really isn't fun at all. Also, protip: if the best way to teach someone to play your game is to just throw a wall of text at them, change the design to be more intuitive.
As a game developer, you should strive to make a game that never becomes impossible, even if it becomes very difficult. That is the most frustrating part of this game. The Snail and Whack a Seal games become impossible past a certain combo as you cannot possibly move fast enough to get them all.
I'm not sure if it is the Hobby system that needs to be tweaked. If you want to follow suit with other idle games, you need to make it so that a player can "prestige" or reset multiple times to gain increasing rewards. Having the multiplier at a set limit means that the biggest time walls in the game never get significantly smaller. So, rather than make the walls easier, just make the multiplier increase more steadily over time. AdCap does this really well where every reset feels like you have made a lot of progress.
I think this is a more elegant solution than just making the time shorter. After all, this is an idle game. The issue isn't the length of time something takes, but rather the interactivity DURING that length of time. The player needs something to do when they aren't making progress, and for most games that solution comes with frequent resets.
That being said, this game is very fun and I am looking forward to the next update.
I love this game. Excellent sequel, in that it takes the formula from the first game and just improves upon it. If I had to pick something to complain about, I wish you could zoom out, but that's a minor thing. 9.5/10 Loads of fun.
This game started out interesting and then quickly devolved into nonsense. It isn't a puzzle when you have to click around randomly guessing what to do. Or should I just have assumes that my beard clippings would turn into a baby raven to feed the cat?
I'd like the ability to turn Copper into Diamonds. Maybe at a rate of 10,000 to 1 or something like that. That way I can earn Diamonds faster, and there would be a motivation to leave your character on Copper even after you have moved on to higher ores.
An excellent game with the exception of Level 19 in Hard mode. That was just frustrating and I only beat it eventually due to sheer force of will. The rest of the levels are cool, though.
4/5
You know your game is bad when even at the 3X speed setting it is still too damn slow. Why did this game get badges? And why was one of them put in a Quest? Does Kong hate me?
Seems like a decent game with a lot of effort put into it, but I gotta ask, why did you take the level up system from Zelda 2? That is the WORST part of that game! You could have had a much more satisfying level up system and still had the retro LoZ feeling.
Personally, I could have done without the RPG elements. Make it more like LoZ or LoZ: LTTP. Still, fun enough that I played a little bit past the Easy badge. 3/5
Aside from a few minor issues (like needing the hint in level 21 to know what is actually going on...) this game is wonderful. Excellent puzzle game. Had my brain working hard. 5/5 Favorited.
