Manually saved, game confirmed it, restarted the browser, and ... suddenly my progress is several hours back. Haven't had that problem before today.

Sorry for all the troubles during the last 2 weeks. I needed to do some changes to the whole load/save system, which caused plenty of problems, including this one. Everything seemed to work fine in the testing environment, but there were many different variables in the live environment that caused some special unhandled conditions. As I recognized this, I manually "shut down" the server for a few hours to assure nobody can override their savegame with a new one. In the meantime all special conditions should be handled and everything should work as expected again.
