Some thoughts/tips because I hear ppl complaining while I thought "That's kinda how it goes,dude...":
It is possible to play an A+ game and still lose. It's a teamsport. Some matches you get a lot of the ball, some matches you don't.
A pass has to come pretty close to your teammate. Balls can bounce and go over them as well (especially when the ball already was bouncing). To keep the ball low, hit the upper half of the ball. For a lob, hit the lower half (and don't hit it to hard then).
Also, your teammates seem to run faster if your playing for better a team.
With the nrg prices it is hard to train, true. But keep in mind that you start as a teenager. You've got time. I'm 25 ingame, and my stats are all maxed.
Some gripes though: Teammates are often idiots. Fans/boss/mates are very harsh for 'missed chances' (which are shots on goals). Your team needs you big time to win... If I "OK" I lose more than I win, even with a top team.
