To elaborate on the previous comment, it seems that there's a bug involving both stickie goo and inkie oil. It seems like when the goo runs out while a gloople is still skidding from the oil, that sometimes their speed increases too much and the go really fast.
I can't reproduce these bugs, but it's fairly common for bugs to come up after a gloople is covered in in stickie goo. For example, sometimes biters and fuzzles will still leap when covered in goo; or on the flip side, will continue to move slowly and will not attack, even after the goo wears off.
Minor interface tweak suggestion: it might be nice to have sprint-energy-left meter on the character like a health bar (or at least have an option to make it that way). It's hard to tell exactly how long to stand still to fully replenish unless you look at the top left corner of the screen, which is difficult in a game as hectic as this. (I also realize that there's a little puffing-air animation, but it's still hard to tell when the character is done resting, or how much you have left in the tank.)
Game balance is not the greatest. In particular, the sword upgrade doubles damage output, while shield and armor have much lower ratios. Maybe that was intentional though. Obviously it's nice for choice in upgrade to be significant.
I love the update that items automatically go into your backpack. However, I just had a problem. It worked fine picking up a meat just a second ago, but an iron sword from a monster never appeared in my inventory or backpacks.
Well there's a new way to die: attacked from both sides by two biters, who then perform reverse mitosis upon your remains, forming a horror and leaving behind only a sword—no body, no blood.
I'm sorry, but there's pizzeria, burgeria, pancakeria................why not Papa's Taqueria? It's a lot more acceptable than "pancakeria": it's actually a word!
this has been said, but like ALL TD GAMES, IT ABSOLUTELY NEEDS A BETTER SPEED UP BUTTON. The whole point is that you DON'T want to disinterestedly watch them die.
I think the game might be better if the individual battles were more drawn out. It would make all the stats a lot more valuable. When it takes 1–3 hits to kill a monster, there's so much overkill that attack, agility, defence, etc., can become almost worthless.
(If you do draw out the battles, do make them faster......)
A great, classic board game. However, it may be nice to add to the settings the ability to turn off the 'show moves' that is displayed on your turn. Being forced to move on your own increases the difficulty of the game (it also increases your skill).
"Papa's Pizzeria"
"Papa's Burgeria"
Why not, "Papa's Taqueria?" Why "Taco Mia?" Taqueria is definitely a more proper generic name for a taco shop anyway!
This should be fixed now, sorry about that
