If you're having the invisible villager problem and a weird box off to the side, you've got the game zoomed in too far and need to zoom it waaaay back. Upvote so people can see!
@lipfi - for challenge 12 I had most of the upgrades already but most important is traps. I stopped manually controlling my ranged units and let them auto while just spamming the hell out of the overcharged (AKA short cooldown) traps and spells. Spam traps as quick as you can and pretty soon the whole floor is carpeted with them - just dont put mines near your melee dudes!
MUST READ IF STUCK WITHOUT GOLD FOR SHIP/CATAPULT: Obviously it is incredibly frustrating when you've killed all the enemies and have to wait for the periodic gold income - the only source of income is the barrels game, but there is an exploitable glitch allowing you to guarantee you never lose. When you make a choice and the scores of the barrels are revealed, if you've got the losing barrel you can quickly click X to return to the map. If you do this before the barkeeper says anything your gold amount will not be updated. I'm writing this hoping that this massive gold farming problem is fixed and this glitch removed in a future update, but until then this is the only way to play the game wihtout getting incredibly frustrated. Please upvote to keep current.
@aoselek - just guessing, but '+50% rare item' probably means its gonna happen 50% more often, rather than 50% of all drops are rare. so if it was a 2% chance and is increased by 50%, it becomes a 3% chance, not a 52% chance
Tip for the impossible badge: The tricky bit is the loot survival run - 50k needs skill and luck, but the priorities for getting it are: 1: Keeping your combo alive, and when it's high (25+) aiming to hit the running brutes and red mages (3-400 per kill) 2: LIVING 3: Chests - ignore everything else.
Sooooooooooooo some bugs: The glowing bases indicating that your cats have leveled up are bound to the wrong cats (so when you spend the upgrade points of one, another's glow will disappear). I had some trouble starting the 3rd level as it appeared 99% of my stamina had just disappeared - this kept recurring until i got a ton of new stamina.
ALso - love the kill/equip concept and mechanic, but the points made about it being unwieldy and needing a better layout is very true - I'd recommend the ability to save custom sets while you experiment. Great game though
OK so my first thought was 'not another crappy CCG game with badges' but this gameplay is... actually kinda innovative, what with the way the cards cycle. I'm grudgingly impressed.
Personally, I'd prefer it if rather than instantly punishing me if I mis-click, the game gave me the option to fill the entire board before hitting 'check answer' and being graded.
Thanks for the kind words! We'd like to think we offer something quite different from other CCG's out there :)
