There is a bug with the hobbies, at least for me. Twice now, it's completed a revolution and I did not get the stat increase. Once on Str from 15 - 16, and once on angst from 19 - 20.
Did a refresh help it correct itself? Whenever we push a new build with fixes, a refresh will ensure you're running that new version. I hope that works out!!
So, I believe the issue isn't necessarily with the Hobby times. That's the end effect, but the cause is the way you've done the speed multiplier. It doesn't scale.
The first time I reset, I gained 3x speed. The second time I reset, I went up to 5x speed, which is ~40% increase. The next time I reset, I'll probably only go up to 6x or so, which is a ~15% increase.
Eventually it will become unsustainable to reset. Most games try to keep a curve of doubling to tripling on every reset to keep progress constant.
If you fix the multiplier gain, that should do much of the work of fixing the hobby time issue.
I think there is a typo in the Zoo job. First level up requires 7200 instances. That's WAY higher than any of the other jobs so far. I think it's supposed to be 72.
I don't know if I got lucky, or the game is just super easy, but I found an item combination around level 5, that let me cruise through the rest of the game with exceptional ease. Using Plago, I got a bow with 54% crit, a ring with +35% crit, and a necklace with restore 10 SP on crit. I was able to run around spamming my special ability constantly, and with pumped up Agility, all creatures died in one hit, and most bosses in less than 3.
