The first thing I will say about Dungeon Developer, is that it gives a whole new perspective to the ordinary hack-and-slash RPG. The artwork is cute, the soundtrack is comical, and the ability to test your own creation in Dungeon Crawl Mode adds a pinch of nostalgia to the mix. Not only are you the master of your own dungeon, but you can share it with others as well; an appealing feature that opens the door to countless possibilities. Sadly, those possibilities are limited by linear gameplay and virtually no plotline, which is a great disappointment for a game that shows so much potential. Basic RPG elements such as character attributes, items, and skills are present, but they aren't emphasized enough to give the game any real depth. I give it 4 stars for personality, but if there is an expansion pack, I hope the creators go that extra mile to make this game truly worthy of a 5-star rating.

With very little argument, I found this game to be nothing short of superb. The graphics and sound are decent, and the length of the game is quite long, with a multitude of stages and optional premium content. Each stage has many different modes and functions to choose from as the plot progresses, so that you can repeat every stage in the game over again, but with a greater difficulty and playing experience. As you advance and replay stages, your wizard level increases, and you are given the opportunity to allocate stat points and advance in a variety of skills to fit your personal style of gameplay. Even after spending several days to complete the main storyline, unlocking all of the stages and trying out the different options kept me entertained for hours long after. A solid five stars, hands down.

This game is so cute and inventive, I have to give it 4 stars. From witty opening to surprising end, I was kept amused with progressive gameplay featuring an appealing upgrade system. However, the game lacks content and is rather short; there are only a handful of levels and challenges to complete. A charming game such as this could easily take home a 5-star rating, if only it went that extra mile. Maybe we will see such content in the sequel? Let's hope so!

Penguins eating turtles; what could be better? With the ability to upgrade your penguin minions, and with 4 worlds full of content, this game gets a solid 4 stars. Honestly, the game could get better; many levels look very similar to others, and there aren't very many types of enemies to encounter from the beginning to the end. Although the game is user-friendly, there isn't alot of input required from the player, as the penguins basically control themselves whilst you collect gold from kills to purchase more upgrades. If there is a sequel to this game, I recommend making it more interactive.

With a wide array of upgrades and achievements, this game can keep one entertained for hours. The concept and controls are rather simple, which make the game easy to learn for any individual. In my opinion, the only flaw that this game retains is that the original idea has surfaced before in several other games, so it lacks unique quality. I give it a solid 4 stars.
