The constantly descending rewards are really annoying. I very much like your game, it has fresh gameplay and doesn't use an energy system. However, when you start off doing 3-4 fights for 150 gems, and it descends to 4-6 fights to get 30 gems it starts getting to you. This is kind of a shady tactic to get people to spend cash and your great game could do just fine without it.
You should probably block off the woods from the early game at least, I went out there and got some kind of ending that made no sense to me, I hadn't even played the game yet :D
Great game! My main suggestion would be once you stop gaining deck size/hero life each level, it'd be nice to have some new bonus to replace that. Considering it takes longer and longer to level up, getting less rewards makes it seem like an almost pointless grind. Maybe some silver(more than the couple hundred you always get for the level up quest) or a little gold or something
Neat game but man is it annoying when the game stutters for no apparent reason and you crash. I should definitely have a good enough cpu to run this on the lowest settings without this happening.
Cool concept, but I gave it up after a few random twitches into -$500 mission fails. A penalty for failing in a game where random factors matter alot is not a good idea.
It was quite fun. The controls were mostly cool but space bar ended up being a bad button for me, when i'd accidentally click outside the game and hit space, it would scroll me to the bottom of the page pretty much ensuring death. I didn't end up killing the boss due to this but i still had fun overall. Good job :)
I have a pretty crap machine and it works OK for me, so I'm still not entirely sure what's up with that.
