I've been playing the game for a few weeks now, here's my review:
Pros:
*I like the quests - small objectives help break up the monotony while grinding for more equipment.
*Using staff allows for more flexible builds. Random staff allow for more unique experience.
Cons:
*"Waste heat" proves to be more annoying than interesting as a mechanic.
*Respec seems like a punishment, rather than an incentive to try again with a different build.
*Having quests depended upon random rewards, which are only given by completing quests (e.g. upgrade 6 staff), which are sometimes impossible/infeasible to complete.
*The game still leaks more memory than a bullet to the head.

Removing the market seems like a sudden change... Achievements don't really have a purpose now, and there seems to be other features that now aren't present...?
Great game, but it could have been milked for more. Being an idle game, spacing out the upgrades to follow a more exponential curve would have been reasonable, maybe with a few more types of devices to hack giving more money to purchase even more expensive items.
What really ruins this game for me is that it pauses if in a background tab. It sort of defeats the purpose of an idle game if I have to be constantly looking at it. FWIW I'm using chrome.
@Raejlove According to the Game News, "Completing Five-Leaf Clover lets you collect more Rainbow Petals and spend them on Altar". Doesn't seem like a great reward but it's something.
