How come the accumulated ranks are being reset every time I restart the game?

I'm on level 8 and have yet to receive the card, with badges I wouldn't care, those can be done any time, but the card will not be there anymore in a couple of days...

Oh wtf, after I had the last boss at 50% health he started regenerating so much that he actually hit 100% again...

Great game overall, but seriously, is it so damn hard to add a mute button?! I find myself not playing it because I want to listen to some music instead of dying germans... sort it out m8!
