obstacles are useless if you get selena as your leader and lvl up battle fury on erica because she would take 2 hits from the small burning area and you can endlessly heal he damage.
damn giant bots are really strong being able to instakill squad members at a fast rate while tanking the most powerful spells at such a cheap price of 120. Can someone please look into this as they seem kind of broke especially with freeze spell support.
well mages are deceptively strong in this game with their lack of upfront damage. this is what i did with my mage to help my priest/support, double warrior combo which was awesome (anoint from cleric and inspiration from warrior to give the 90% damage boost lulz). The mage is awesome but you have to give them dex and end as well as int (to make sure they can hit everyone consistently and not die in one hit) and give him a good staff and orb that have massive amounts of poison or DOT (damage over time) i have got around 40-60 poison at lvl 20 with my mage and that much poison ticks a lot of my enemies to death with the ~50 damage a second for 6 seconds = 300 damage overall.
i continue my statement earlier because the warrior apparently cannot miss with a hit rate of 100% when they have sweeping strikes (stance in the bottom left) on and my warrior is hitting around 400 damage at lvl 16 about 3 times that of my mage and can tank like a total boss lulz
the classes which i find to be really fun are the warrior/champion, and the mage/sorcerer because you can make your warrior a top tier berserker with so much strength he one shots any grunt and the sorcerer deals so much aoe with its thunderstorm its ridiculous against massive mobs
Please correct me if I am wrong as I have not played this game too much but this is what I have been seeing so far and I hope that they can make more balances regarding the units. Thumbs up so that newer players can see this. ^^
Out of the 9 starting units I find that Ballistas are always consistent but only if there are in a row where your opponent puts a lot of units. Onagers happen to be the most powerful unit when formations only consist of 1-3 units in the early levels of the game as they will deal double damage for 40%-70% of the time. Shielders when used properly are able to stall up to 3 opposing units with their invincibility skill, golden cavalry and shadow cavalry don't do as much damage but are still viable, flame light infantry, flame spearmen, light infantry, and frost longbow men are not that good concerning how their specials deal almost no damage and takes their turn.

to me this is what i did i hide 2 signallers + 2 officers in a bunker behind a rock with a bunker beside it and i used special arreal bombardments and that got me up to wave 57 with 3 deaths
