Hello Kongregatians, I am Valkyrie. A Valkyrie, according to Norse mythology, is an ‘angel’ of sorts. They roam battlefields during wars, picking who dies and who lives, and then deliver the worthy and honorable dead to the Norse afterlife, Valhalla. In the Norse language, “Valkyrie” actually translates to “chooser of the slain”. I don’t know why I just told you all of that. Don’t ask. Just enjoy the history lesson.
