This game just needs a bit more polish and get rid of the energy based bullsh*t. Look how popular Hearthstone, Elder Scroll Legends, Shadowverse, etc. AND IT'S ALL BASED ON THE FREE TO PLAY MODEL WITHOUT THE ENERGY METER. If it's a good game, I'll f*cking spend some money on it, but there's just not enough incentive for me to buy anything for this game when I can only play it an hour at a time.
This is actually a pretty good game and if some more content were added, I would probably spend $20 on this as a steam game, but the energy mechanic is the dumbest f*cking thing. The devs are actively saying we can't play their game. I know the company earns some money from people who spend money to get more energy, but it's such a f*cking manipulative, cynical way of creating a game. I would rather buy an overpriced steam game than f*cking waiting 5 hours before the game ALLOWS me to play some more. F*ck Bit Heroes.
Really wish there was an obstacle in the game in which the player could fail; say the asteroids also hurt the ship if you didn't blow them up. Really wish the asteroids gave money that scaled the father you've been, that way you can skip all of the plants you've already been to.
The energy/timer pattern is just a ploy for people to spend money on their game. But people would do that anyway if the game is good. Just don't be manipulative about it!
This game is filled with bugs as well. Several times I found enemies would "die" a.k.a. lose all their health, but wouldn't fall down and didn't register that they dies, so the level never ended unless I quit, which is frustrating. The timed quests are almost impossible unless you max on runes, which is kinda lame. Again, AI needs improvement. I would like to see more levels, but overall a fun game to play!
