Even when i had answers to their threats (and expected incoming tortures), I could't get close to winning.
This game forces people to play rush decks (unless you're a mage). Ranger and Mage are undeniably overpowered.
Tortured to death by mages employing 2 strats.
1.) The first used a ton of spells to drag the game. I had full health and didn't get hit once. Got hit with torture, meditate tort tort.
2.) the two other mages used rush cards like Cavalry, Knights, Pegasus, Swift, etc. Tortured me around turn 12 or so. I had Alerts, zombie minions, aves and a healing priestess. There was no opportunity for me to apply pressure because I had to deal with his rush units.
For context, I was Royal Medal last season. Can someone explain to me how torture is not overpowered? I've read the comments on armor, kong and R2s website. It looks like a good number of people think Torture is overpowered.
Let's not forget about the vast horde of rangers with their BS removal cards. I'm tagging along with @gephyr. I'm done.
To add on, the removal in this game is laughable. The ranger has solid removal cards, all for the cost of nothing. Mage has dependable removal and insane burst. Meanwhile, priest and warrior are completely shafted.
