Returning to a game, where the progress isn't saved, just isn't good enough.
Whether I might be able to able to fix it by upgrading/changing my browser or not, isn't really important now the damage is done.
You should consider a warning in the game news, or instructions.
Thanks for the feedback! I've added a warning to the game news. I'm still searching for solutions to the problem, with hope the next update will fix it.
Yes, we made some changes to the data. We are still in the middle of making changes so we were going to write an update when the rest of them were done. We have a good amount of balance, quality of life and improvements coming here this week. (week of 9/12/16)
I was quite disappointed.
The game starts out as a quite good, simple shooter.
Going on to the second and third chapter however, you get a lesser version than the first chapter. No defenders, no flying enemies - simply lesser versions of the first chapters.
The game has potential, if the following chapters expanded upond the first.
Hmm... Two games: 1) Find myself wandering a creepy house. Nice atmosphere. Finds a sword, and get attacked and killed by zombies. 2) Gets the sword and find the exit, without dying. Great. Finds a shotgun and some ammo, and kills some zombies (and wierd dropping from the sky spiders). Still great. Spends the shotgun shells I have, on zombies and other monsters... Never finds other weapons, or more ammo. Starts running from everything. Goes on a trek over the mountains, without any idea where I am. Runs through a heavily guarded ruin, and suddenly find a helicopter. Dies while it load, but somehow a won the game, despite not having a clue what was happening...
Thanks for the great feedback! Indeed it sounds like you trekked off of the intended path(s). I thought wandering over the mountains was physically impossible., but I will check again. ;) If you had traveled up the road, defeat the Scorpion, this will squelch the fire blocking the stairs entering the graveyard, which would offer you more ammo and health, and further up the road a new, more powerful weapon, and a vehicle for safe transport. I will make effort to make the direction guides more apparent. :)
Okay, so the story is: The guy doesn't want to work for the mob. Fair enough, he is the good guy after all. Yet the alternative he chooses? Killing off hundreds of policemen...
I find the misleading instructions quite annoying. So you think you got a nice idea for a game? Then state what it is, instead of using your game as a prank. This is just going to upset a number of players.
The instructions might be fake, but at least the description is accurate. Oh, and you can't see them, but I'm totally wearing sunglasses as I type this.
I got stuck quite annoyingly. Just before the scientist get the warp range working and saying something that ends with "... way to ruin science", I had ignored the portal (searching for candy), jumped a couple of floors upwards and left. Result: I fell to my death in a previous room, got respawned in a small cubicle I wasn't able to warp out of.
Sad ending to an otherwise great game.
Bug-rapport: At day 2, after being approached by the dudes, I went to the casino. They gave me the race, despite being the same day. This leaves me at day 3, seemingly with nothing to do, and no way of progressing the game :-(
I really like the game, but there are a few things that does make sense to me so far: 1) Regeneration, why does it have to be such an ugly globe above you even when you aren't hurt. 2) Capes shouldn't heal you. It makes regeneration and healing potions redundant, that you can just shift between your capes, and get full hp.
