Bit clunky, and I'm not fond of the messaging system. If you're busy looking at a point of interest, you often miss the message, or even worse, get halfway through before it goes!
I'm level three, with 20 skill points. I'm trying to by a skill with a level req of 2 and a cost of 5. My assumption was to clock on the skill. Nothing happens. Hrrrrm.
Sparta was easy. Gunmen and quake gun sorted them out. Campaign however. Yawn. 3 Missile turrets at max and 13 repairmen. I haven't fired a shot for 9 levels now. Is there anymore variation? I have jeeps jetpacks demo trucks and 2 kinds of infantry.
It's there to be enjoyed Catpaw, not analyzed. The catapult, while yes, it's not feasible, is however a different dimension on the battle field that breaks up the click and drag slicing. Oh, and grammar or not, I would have thought headshot would have been apparent, seeing as you can see the things flying off in the first level or 2. I think you'll find it can also mean "blow to the head"
What the author means is as follows.
You place cards in the play area. the aim is to place a card (lets say 10) whose value can be made with any single or 2 card combinations using what is already in play. for example. you play your 10. there is a 7, a 3 and a 5 on the floor. you take the 7, 3 and 10 cards and add them to your pile. you score a basra by clearing the board. if there's a 7, a 3 and a 10 in play, and you play another 10, then you take the 7 and 3 (7+3 = 10) and also the 10 (10=10) plus teh ten you played, and score a basra.
It sounds harder than it is!
The seven of diamonds behaves in a similar way to a jack - it captures everything on the floor. If the cards on the floor are all numerals, and their values add up to 10 or less, this counts as a basra, and scores the 10 point bonus. If the floor adds up to more than ten, or includes picture cards, the diamond7 still takes all the cards but it does not count as a basra. If you play the diamond7 to an empty floor it stays there (and can be captured later just like a normal seven).
Not sure if anyone's already posted this, but I'm sure as hell not going to read 30 pages of OMG 1st! drivel.
There's a problem with match tracking. If the other player aborts then you don't get the match count added to your total game count.
