Are buying properties a cumulative stat or is your energy regeneration only based off the highest property you own? Ex: Will you regenerate more energy if you own all properties or just the private island?
I get the same glitch....If you collect all the resources too quickly it seems that sometimes it will spam the *clink noise (that the little stars make when they go up to your total). No way for it to stop or mute unless you refresh page.
My base is all messed up. It looks like the earlier version of the game and keeps making me run through the tutorial every time I refresh. Also, it will not let me finish the tutorial because it continues below the screen so I cannot click next or jump.
I was just making a point of all the crying about gold. Its double edged. Yes, you don't need gold to play but it is a water-downed version of the game. The Devs need to work out an economy to balance the issues related to entice players to play or risk the chance of losing too many core players during the introductory period of the game. I don't buy gold for the simple fact that their is no reason to buy gold other than to change the skins of your units. Simple as that. I can have 1000 units but can not research a A-10? Yea....
Wow.....There are a ton of comments about the whole gold system. Just look at it logically and it will make sense. IF you don't have a credit card or do not want to pay to play with the different units then you can and win the story mode. The only problem is that it does not have the core game-play or community support to bring players back who do not want to pay. The economic system is a bit off balanced and needs to be re-worked to to engage player more. If you have to play the entire campaign with troops, helicopters and a tank then it is not exactly knocking my boots off and just is not worth coming back to scrap resources and play with the same units I had at level 1. For 10$ I can get 100 Kreds or 1200 gold and buy planes or I could take 10 bucks and buy Command and Conquer...At the same time Devs got to make money and that is what it is.
In response to the gold being in game currency: I understand it is the means for generating profits and paying upkeep on servers. However by making it totally unattainable, unless you pay for it, you are closing out roughly 40% of game options. Why not use a proven model such as Zynga's model where in game currency can be earned slowly but steadily.
Example: In mafia wars on facebook you gain 1 RP (in game currency) every time you level up. Or you can simply buy these in bulk by purchasing them for cash. When you strictly hold gold as a pay only option you drastically cut a large chunk of game-play and long term investment by players as well as seeing a huge divide between pay players and free play players thus turning many players off sooner to your product.
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy the game. Just some food for thought...
