Is the math correct in this game at all? For example I hit a milestone that says it gives a 2x multiplier but my production looks like it went up only as much as the increase from buying the tool itself.

Within a day my heroes are all pushing level 1000+, upgrading them from level 100 to that with shards is going to be ridiculous.
