I desperately want a Cakeria or something. As a baker by trade, I demand this. Cupcakes, pies, cookies - it's probably the only thing Papa hasn't done yet. :p
Been playing for thirty seconds, and this is what I have to say so far: please, please, please get someone to read through your script first. Things are either misspelled, the wrong words are used, or overall bad grammar. For even a casual gamer, these things can kill a game.
The reason things like this usually captivate people is that they are vague enough to be applied to anyone.
Unfortunately, not vague enough to apply to my life. :p
Looking at this game gave me a headache. You need something other than black, white, and red. Thinking isn't needed when you look at the keypad and the sequence pretty much shows itself.
First off, way to use The Passenger for the background music in the bar. Very nice touch. Second, those bunnies look a lot like the ones from the Book of Bunny Suicides. ;)
Third.. nice game, dude.
As far as dash games go, this was an alright one. Obviously it's meant for younger kids, given the place that submitted it. I never had a problem with customers getting angry, just keep the radio going, very easy once you've upgraded it. 4/5
I know it's your first game, but some things to consider:
Okay, so you didn't use original pictures, but you could have found some that were of a better quality.
Some of the differences were SO minimal or not contrasted enough with the area around it that they are difficult to see.
It's cool if you use anime pictures and all, but maybe start with some that don't have so much going on in the background and such.
First off, very nice critique, Orblord, very constructive. The idea was cute, and as a big fan of bats I liked it. However some of the upgrades seemed pointless (I never noticed a change in speed, for one, which would have helped) and I don't think eagles are a natural predator. Other than that, nice effort.
I only played the first two levels (there's not much of a challenge for me in a typing game, heh) but it's very well done. The graphics are nice, the music fits, and it's a little different from the usual Kongregate stuff. 5/5
