So I typed Super Mario Brothers 3
Wrong.
Then I typed Super Mario Brothers Three
Wrong again.
Just typed Mario 3 out of frustration. It was right....Not cool.
You can equip an item with a spell on it, use the spell, then quickly swap back to another item. I've been using this to cast shield without having to keep it on at all times. This works for any spell.
The Ball moves a bit slow, and it may be just me, but it almost seems the adjustments you make to the table are delayed slightly. On the Fork You level, the ball is stuck where it is unless you move left to right. Slightly annoying.
All in all, not bad. a few tweaks and I'd give it 5 stars.
Like it, but my only complaint is the fact that whenever the flash game isn't focused (even just scrolling down for comments) everything stops. So if I do something else during this 'idle' game while I am playing it, it does not progress. Very annoying. Otherwise very good game.
One suggestion: Make the world map scrollable!!
Also, a possible bug: I killed a bat as it was flying over some hedge/grass thing I can't walk on. It only dropped 1g, but if it had been one of the quest items, I wouldn't have been able to complete the game.
@0AP0 - Basically, if you go by the 'map' and go to idle in the level 20 area around level 20, you end up dying a lot. Each death halves your gold and reduces your XP. Either re-adjust the names for the level places, or readjust the enemies :p
IMO Adjust the armor on the level 20 creatures to at least HALF of what it is (90 armor, really??) and cut the HP in half or to 3/4ths as much as well to help even it out a bit.
I'm having a lot of trouble with this game in the difficulty curve. I mean, I'm level 41, I've got each of the armors up to the 5k Paladin Armor, as well as each of the weapons leading up to the 6k Godslayer blade, and i STILL can't let my character idle in the Lvl 20 area.
I see nothing wrong with the pay to play feature. How many of you have bought digital games over the past 2 years and enjoyed them? I see this as a positive thing, honestly. It's not like they want a lot of money either. FIVE BUCKS. Considering that most XBLA games are of similar quality and cost 10, I think it's a fair trade.
Stop being babies.
