Boring game, keep throwing impossible quests to me (example: deliver 30 crates of mango for 20k while only 2 crates of mango exist for sale in the entire Africa)
leaf sword + ice amulet is very, very, very overpowered, I am blazing by the entire game, I don't even click, just seek a huge mass of enemies, stand in the middle, and see your health constantly topped out and enemies exploding with the ice shards everywhere.
So, events in view of a human in the lab:
Project start.
Army takes over.
Project complete.
Computer start to develop morals.
Army decide to launch nuke on someone.
Computer warn that it will not do that.
Army decide to override it.
Scientists refuse to allow that.
Both sides brawl, and someone (probably General Field himself) manage to at exactly 11:58 shut down the computer sentience.
The whole game happen, in only some miliseconds in real world.
Army has failed to launch nuke.
Note on 11:58: probably a reference to the armageddon clock, that the closer it is to 12:00 the closer it is of a nuclear war (or some other human-induced end of the world)
This is done, and the "walls that speak" and several of the barriers and terminals and etc... is how the computer perceives the "block" on his conscience. (the physical layout of the place, and the overturned chairs and whatnot, probably reflects the state of the laboratory in the real world. The overturned chairs is probably what happened when Jerry e Co. tried to fight the Army to prevent them from blocking the computer conscience).
The fact you see a clock locked at 11:58, is because the computer, being absurdly fast, is seeing time very slow while it reboots itself.
Then it either shuts down (and disable the nukes with it) or do his plan (destroying all weapons of the planet), I am not sure.
To those that do not understand the plot:
You play as a computer, what you see is how it perceives the laboratory where it was created, after it was half-shut-down.
Basically the plot is:
Jerry e Co. Create a sentient computer. Army takes over (the fact it mentions Republicans and Democrats and the author IS NOT a US citizen, make me think it was the US Army) the project, intending to make it a strategist computer that will kill enemies for them.
The computer, because of its absurd simulation capability, sentience and imagination, figure that war is a bad idea. This gets worse when someone decide to launch nukes (Project Crusade).
The computer then decide to destroy all weapons on Earth, and prevent the nuke launching. General Field then asks to someone shut down its conscience, but keep active the rest, since they need the network running.
Nice graphics, great controls, but utterly boring in both graphics (levels look only like pallete swap of others), level design (levels are just a collection of giant boxes with platforms between them or some decoration) and game design (game is in some aspects annoying, like how much it take to kill stuff in general, yet is very easy to buy the beast weapon outright on the start).
Arcade 25k: (ka)boom Box, ultralight trike, thor ramjet, maximum fuel. The remaing money go to ramp height. I did varying scores with this depending on ramp, success on starting boost, piloting, etc... but consistently above the needed score.
Ah, I thought I had fixed that bug. Oh well I will check out again what's causing it. E: Should be fixed now.
