I have found that the AI in the game is very lacking. If a character gets attacked, he/she should stop what they are doing and retaliate instead of standing there and getting attacked till they die.
Not gonna lie, swarm mode is kind bs. I die, respond in my wave that I died last in... aliens all around, ammo out.... I keep dying. Than when I look at the wave its reset to zero, but it isn't getting any easier. Makes getting the badge for this very hard. The badge shouldn't be a med. it should be a blast hard or even IMPOSSIBLE!
Pretty good game I'd have to say. Kept me on my feet with those shadow creatures. Died one time not knowing what to do. To be honest, I had to read the walkthrough because I didn't know I could take that guys arm. Other than that, the game was good.
I saw this game while shopping at a local GameStop and I am actually amazed at how nice it is.
A few Pros:
+ It's both RPG and Strategy (two games I love)
+ Can be "free" roam or "story" driven
+ Some customization to characters and home base
+ Easy to learn and control
+ Graphics are very nice for a free game
+ Continues "the Last Stand" series which I've always liked
Cons:
- Cannot control multiple people at once
- A.I. is sometimes dumb and don't do anything to defend self
- Customization is limited
- Cannot (by my calculations) make a fort with the walls unless you use different types of walls
- It has crash on me twice so far
Over all I have rated this game 5/5 for it has kept me entertained for the last 24hrs and I have also shared it with my FaceBook friends. My wife tried to play it, but it was more strategy and commands than she wanted. I however like the style of this game and I look forward to speeding many hours on this game.
