Why does everything get more expensive the more you acquire? At best, the cost of each should only vary +/- by some random % from the original price. Where's the economy of scale? Surely I have acquired some experience and negotiating skill by the time I'm buying my 100th or 1000th lemonade stand. You could make the argument that they should get cheaper the more I own.
