Like most of people here I found the final part a shocking, traumatizing experience, but I guess I got the message: Cube Escape games are not here just to give us cheap jumpscares, but also to sometimes move our lazy asses and demand some quick reaction from us, point-and-click gamers who aren't that used to make fast decisions. Besides, Rusty Lake has done timed puzzles in the series before, so we shouldn't really have been surprised to face pressure again - and in the same location of the first game! I'd say, however, that you devs were really cruel this time, putting so many tricky puzzles together during such a tense moment and all, haha. I wish all this fear I felt was compensated later in a very calm sequel outside that elevator, but I won't be optimistic: looks like the series is getting closer to an end, and endings don't use to be easier... ;P
