I love to be asked if I want sound, and I love the auto mute when clicking on anything else that is not the game, I wish more developers were like you!
Strategy guide part 4
NOTE: the oil gain rate is automatically upgraded by upgrading your machines OR time, I am not sure haven't tested it but usually it starts to give more after the 5th machine upgrade, DON'T WASTE YOUR OIL ON DUMB THINGS if you are like me you might want to buy everything there is to buy, but you can focus on the machines first and when you reach the most powerful one you can then send it in and start buying the drill and the platform (which in reality are useless because they don't really provide any oil for their cost)
Strategy guide part 3
5.- focus on getting the most expensive machine, after the 3rd wall I usually don't buy any more walls and just fight power with power, he will sometimes send HP heavy machines just enough to kill off one of yours and still be alive with 1 hp, send a mix of the fast and a heavy and you should hold enough to make him go back to the normal HP machines or even make him freak and start sending 1 hp machines NEVER USE THE FAST THAT COSTS 5 AND HAVES 4 HP its a waste of oil and with a direct hit you only get back 3 oil
Strategy guide part 2
3.- REMEMBER as the machines of your enemy become stronger, they also provide more oil, and more often than not, enough to re-fill your oil for the most expensive machine, this is wasted if the enemy manages to hit your wall, it will only give you 1 oil whereas with a machine collision you can harvest more YOU CAN WIN THE GAME WITHOUT BUYING ANY MORE WALLS
4.- when nothing is happening in the enemies side, send fast machines (the one with 2 hp) to test your ground, that way you can catch him off guard and you can harvest 2 oil from a direct hit or he will start sending 1 hp machines to stop you, or in more advanced games heavies but lower than what you already have, which is great when you have more powerful machines where the HP is higher than the cost, he will destroy them but you will harvest more oil to buy more upgrades and you might manage a direct hit which will harvest much more oil + the oil you already harvested from destroying his machines
OK strategy guide Part 1
1.- the best defense is a solid offence, if you manage to survive the first few waves with only the cheaper walls (the first 3 upgrades) AND the first fast machine you can buy upgrades to your machines faster let him hit your wall with the 2 hp machines he sends first and upgrade your wall the first time, then send the second upgraded wall just as the first bursts and you should harvest enough from it to buy the first fast machine, then it is a simple give and take of fast machines vs his 1 hp machines (he will be spent but keep attacking anyway)
2.- always make sure that you have enough oil so summon your most powerful machine BEFORE you make an upgrade (I usually send it in and then upgrade to use the machine as a barrier)
This "slice of life" game ain´t that bad, but I think It might have worked more in another format, the controls over the construction site were kind of wonky but the overall theme was an interesting view, too bad that it doesn´t go "deeper" in story, the art is good, not excellent but good, I want to see more of this kinds of games.
