Recommendations: The alien artifacts (once researched) should be able to be at the top of buildings. I want to use them for decor. Also, it would be nice to be able to move unique buildings without tearing them down.
And if you can't help but spend too much time programming, it would be neat to be able to unlock the ability to build custom buildings (aesthetic, limited ratio of production/housing/happiness/etc).
Quite entertaining.
1) Avoid running out of food at all costs. Use the job screen to ensure you have an endless supply, and use the population maximum to your advantage. Starving people are unproductive. 2) Be patient. Some things just take time. 3) Don't worry so much about maximizing happiness early. You'll get there. 4) Build plenty of Mines/Rock-Teleporters (I do 3-to-1 ratio... not sure if there is an ideal). 5) The Tinkers' House education boost is great. 6) You'll need a place to store your alien monuments on the ground. You can put a building on each side and then span over the top, one at a time. Plan ahead. Once you've built on a region, removing the building at the ground will drop everything overhead. 7) Leave locations available for building monuments and snazzy building complexes. The game isn't about just efficiency. It's about building overly-fabulous places.
Played a couple days ago. Enjoying the game. But I reloaded, and now the header (buy gold, game guide, support, ad) is super-large so that I've lost a large portion off the bottom edge of the screen.
Love the game, but having bug issues. Level 10, after the zombies chase me and I escape (whether leaving by the stairs or hiding in shadows), after several seconds it tosses me in the slammer. Hadn't been caught. Had this on a previous level, too. Basically, can't alert the zombies.
The idea, while certainly not novel, is still interesting. The plot line of the character holds merit (although a bit freaky). The writing is fair. The endings are often mid-thought and erratic. You have to piece together numerous endings to get any idea what is happening, and then still it's rather unclear.
The rating loss is warranted. Pursuing a storyline with better quality like the writer has indicated is also warranted. Interested to see the next one.
I'm not a great writer; I'll admit this before anyone. My highest aspiration is just to tell an interesting story without grammatical/spelling errors. Perhaps someday after a few more games' worth of practice I'll be a great writer, but that day is not today.
