The concept is great but peoples rants about the AI aren't unwarranted. Shooting the bot that yours are either targeting or nearest too should be common sense but it's not.
Target assignment beyond "follow" would be a nice fix.
Fun and quick, I like it. I got the boss on the 2nd try. It doesn't shoot you and it pretty much can't steer. Change your direction often and fly circles around it when you have the chance.
I'm clearly doing something wrong. When aiming for headshots I end up hitting someone in the knees. When I do hit them in the head it still takes just as many shots as hitting them anywhere else.
I can't see needing a guide for this, the only part that was mildly "tasking" were the teleporters on the floor. Since the pattern they use doesn't change, it takes a few trial and error moments to beat them.
As for the last boss, just grind levels out on the little blade-arm guys in the "dark" train car. Use the cash to buy up potions and go to. Dunno what level I was when I beat the boss but my heal was doing 90hp per cast.
The only "strategy" for the boss I could say I used was using boost, then double strike as many times as possible to get him down. After that it's all about endurance, as long as you can keep your life around 100, you'll be fine.
Suffers the same fate as a lot of these games. It's amusing the first couple minutes but it degrades into boring, tedious frustration pretty quickly.
Well animated, controls are annoying on the tiny Kongregate game window. 2/5. One point for animation, one for original concept.
Card wasn't too bad, just jump to the highest point on the map and hang out for a while. Pick of the robots and few guys that jump up. Good flash but it gets boring pretty fast. 3/5
Possible title for the sequel "Circle Strafe Super Air Hockey Hoverbot Arena Combat!!!"
3/5
I'd say it's a very good start to a game but needs some fleshing out. Maybe something other then "survive X min" or "kill X d00ds". A maze, obsticles...something.
One of the few games where the boss fights are easier then the actual levels and the only challenge in later levels is staying awake long enough to beat the timer while you circle strafe endlessly.
