As I mentioned in the Kong Elements' forum, the official forum is down because the subscription hasn't been paid yet. We have the funds, so it seems antiaverage simply forgot. We need only wait until he logs on.
I e-mailed the developer about the servers a few days ago. He tends to reply fairly quickly to my e-mails, especially when it concerns performance issues. Fairly quickly for him is still not very fast, so apologies for that, but the issue will be fixed.
@bryton: Finish all quests and you'll see :>
@lahadareina: If you completely lose connection to the server, the game can't resume your match and so you instantly lose. The game is set up a certain way to prevent a majority of exploiting in PvP. Besides, you couldn't win if you lose connection to begin with.
@Linat: Because... it's -your- connection. The servers very rarely go down, and if they do you'll notice because PvP1, 2, Arena or saving doesn't work (depending on which goes down).
I love this, but I found a horrible bug. Early in the game I ended up on top of a log after an Axe final attack. This caused my movement speed to slow down to horrible levels. I saved and quit as well as closed the tab and reloaded the game, but my save file is permanently bugged. Good thing I hadn't gotten past Chapter II.
@limbodog: Odds are your cards have just been relocated and changed a tiny bit. Ask around in chat and I'm sure we can revive your favourite deck. The game hasn't changed very much, and if you really lost a lot of cards that might be fixable too.
To everybody wondering about the official forum: it seems the problem lies with our host. I've e-mailed them, and it has never taken more than two days to fix before. Because of this I need to take further action, but I have very limited net access at the moment because of RL issues. If the problem persists, we may have to move important things to Kong as a backup for now, such as War. - Higurashi, Admin of the official forum.
Sanctuary perhaps? It's not indestructible even though it protects your hand and quanta. The only way to destroy an immaterial permanent is by means of a successful freeze with Ice Bolt+Shockwave on a protected weapon, as it bypasses targeting of the weapon. No other protected perms can currently be destroyed.
For all of you new players who are having trouble getting started, and for all of you people wanting links to Tutorials, here is the Tutorial board on the official forum, kept up to date by me: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,366.0.html
Just look at the two most recent ones for excellent guides I personally reviewed and approved. - Higurashi, Admin of the official forum.
If anyone's having trouble with enemies having too much HP.. spec XP, Gold (10 is enough, tbh. I'm swimming in gold I can't spend), then Axes. Since enemies blink with invulnerability, the faster weapons don't add much DPS. I rarely had to hit anyone more than 6 times to kill it since I only got 20 Luck, 10 Vitality and the rest into Strength. Turns out I didn't need to boost anything but Strength :P Max Berserker Hit after Axes, of course, then Natural Armor (need 3 Sword Mastery). Sadly Berserker Hit only applies to Axes and Maces, or Bows could've been nice with two Crit skills.
k, there's a huge problem with the DK's Ghoul. If it dies in the previous battle, you can't wait for CD's because the DK never starts grinding again since the Ghoul isn't coming off CD out of battle. Normally setting wait to 6s would be the best point of the Ghoul for single-target grinding. I can't even set waiting to 7 for Bone Shield or 13 for Deathstrike since I have Ghoul.
Hm.. I've completed Scholomance twice on my Mage (second char), and I'm not getting the achievement. I've tried reloading and doing it a third time. No dice.
