I really wanted to beat the highest level on my friends list, but I'm at 477 and I don't think I can make it another 89 levels. It sucks that you can't collect offline, and there aren't any achievements, so there's not really anything to work towards. I even stalled getting a wife because I spent extra flowers making the other girls fall in love, which made that goal take longer. After that it's just leveling up everything, nothing changes or gets interesting. I don't know how much longer I'll last. PS, sushifrenzy is mistaken, I leave my computer running all night and the wife's leveling is the same whether the menu is up or not. Only in the town is where you won't level or grow anything.
This isn't my type of game, but I played through all of it out of curiosity. It seems so random, there's a story but it doesn't correlate with the gameplay. You earn money, but there's nothing to spend it on, lol. And there's no ending to the story about Alice and the guy. If I was the developer, I would make what the guy (Kevin) is saying relevant, like he could say "Alice loves walks in the park and finding things, can you help me find some items?" Or on the flower level where you click flowers with a timer, that could be for the bouquet that he wants to get her. And maybe you can use the money you earned to pick out a ring for her, the more money you have the more options you can choose from. Then, have a picture of Kevin and Alice together at the end, with your score. If there's no time to do that, then I'd take the story of Kevin and Alice as well as the money out of the game, because it makes no sense the way it is. But it runs smoothly, pretty art and the games were nice.
This game was badged a while back and I begrudgingly clicked through the first part to get to the easy badge, then saw it was back for a badge this week and decided to give it an honest play through to get the medium badge. I'm glad I did, it's actually made me look up the philosophers in the game and read more about their beliefs in order to progress, and I feel like I've actually gained something from it. If you were hoping for explosions for the badge of the day and not something that makes you think, add this to your playlist and give it a try later when you're in the mood, it's worth it.
Ah, I think people might be saying they're failing even with clicking all the right colors because there's one or two stray pixels of a different color that's getting stuck in some levels. It seems to just be luck making sure they don't. Level 13 seems to be a crapshoot with stray pixels.
OMG Kong STOP badging these games! I play the game for 5 minutes and get cravings for whatever food it is for the entire week and it's always food filled with both fat and carbs STOPPPP
I think only those with an asshole sense of humor will truly love and appreciate this game to the fullest extent. I changed my rating from 4 to 5 after seeing the nonsensical ending.
Ok, so maybe after playing through 3 of these Factory Ball games I'm starting to like it, idk. One thing I know for sure... Bart Bonte love balls, with a fiery passion that is unrivaled with any other lover of balls.
I'm battling the Native Elder's sister, and her health keeps going to max health at the end of each turn. Her magic is down to 5 points so she isn't casting anymore spells and it's still doing it. This has to be a glitch right?
:) I'm glad you did too. You have no idea how much it means to hear you got something out of it.
