The only game I've ever seen that my opinion of it has gone up as I died - the whole 'fame' thing and the different classes takes the game to the next level. Brilliant.
What? I take out their castle, and all of their troops except a king kong lookalike and an archer behind it while my castle is in good health. But king kong is so powerful that he takes out my entire castle before I can kill just him. Is that not a bit unfair?
YES 1882 :D as someone above said, the trick is not to start the backflip until you're on your way down, it sounds weird but it gives you far longer for the handstand.
I think that there should be a limit on the amoutn of money you can get from one level, maybe only the maximum amount you've got on that level, if you beat your record you earn the amount you beat it by? This might require a little update to the scoring system but it really is too easy to get as much money as you need.
Why are people rating down a perfectly logical comment, I hate it when people rate comments down just because they disagree with it, is this area not for discussion?
Decent game, the graphics are good but need a few finishing touches. Maybe the soldiers turning to face the watch they shoot?
The gameplay is solid with a good difficulty ramp and about the right amount of content, though maybe there could be objects that carry on between the levels, such as upgrading the health on your bases or the attack of various units.
4/5 for me, nice work :)
1800 trick points – Note that this is NOT your total. [Best so far: 1793]
I must have done 10 goes over 1750 but I just can't get there, like there's a limiter on my game..
Brilliant game with true depth of strategy, one thing that annoys me is that having completed only 3 of the 20-something maps my only option available is a hard map which is a rather odd learning curve. Or maybe im just saying this because I've died on this map a lot now :P
I wish someone would do an AS3 version of this. I'm using Mt Sun Studios Brick Breaker tutorial at the moment but I'm developing it way beyond what is shown in the tutorials and I want to do able to do the things in here in AS3.
I am currently building a similar game after using the same tutorial, but while this is all correctly made you have put in no creativity at all apart from changing the colours. I doubt you still read the comments but for example you can fix the getting stuck on the sides with a simple line of code and it's the little thing that make or break (hehe puns FTW) a game.
