@Animaker, sounds like you're drinking the potion and its effects are wearing off too early like the witch said it would, look for a way to get the werewolf to ingest it instead.
I'm seeing the opposite of what the top comments are saying, I seem to be unable to do reaction landings at all and any speed above the slowest breaks an asteroid and makes me unable to get any further due to the slow speed.
This is strange because I played this same game yesterday and it was extremely fast paced but impossible to control once you got going and were spinning rapidly around asteroids.
That boss battle on hard was actually surprisingly easy, used last flake with 5 bite, 5 regen and 1 health to get the boss down to 50 hp, at which point i thought it suitable for the detective to land the finishing blows.
I'm confused, I came back to my save game on level 10 and found everything to be a lot harder than before, such that I could hardly make a dent in anything.
This is despite putting the 5 points per item room mostly into damage (was always 5 no matter what, earlier versions apparently had more varied numbers) when I was last playing.
I've looked at the 'about' screen and the first level. My guess from the 'about' screen showing the character in what appears to be a hospital is that he got in an accident and its all a dreaaaaaaaaam. Supported by the fact that you appear to be in control of an invisible character on that screen.
Again though, I haven't played the game and this is just a guess.
gameplay reminds me of an ipad app sadly :( seems easy and grindy if you want to get much out of the shop. Game also froze just playing music after finishing the level with the falling chandeliers and getting close call 1 + 2 as the level ended.
Basically what OCHawkeye is saying is that platformer games these days should have a small grace period when walking off a ledge in which you can still jump even whilst not touching the ground.
Someone mentioned the mines around the back entrance to the elevator. I took 2 tries at this, once from each door. Didn't work. Instead I shot the guard and one of the cameras so that I could enter via the door.
Odds are the actual path will be something silly like the path around the mines being hidden by the walls.
