To all people who don't want to download the unity player: there isn't actually anything bad about unity. I was skeptical about it also, but it is a tiny download, and the games are really fun. Unity itself is just an engine that can run 3d graphics, so at times it's worthwhile. The 2d games, however, have amazing detail that you can't get with just flash. I'd say that unity itself is just an extension of flash if you want to think about it that way, but all in all it is amazing.
Amazing game. Everything is well balanced except for one thing. Dragons. They always appear seem to appear just after I get the lvl 5 equips.I don't know if this is a problem that only I've had, but maybe, the dragons should only spawn after about day... 15? That way, the players will have time to obtain more equipment.
Some helpful ideas:
maybe adding a level selection screen- playing the same level gets a bit dull, so maybe designing some new levels, and enemies to go with it.
Make leveling up do something- perhaps add a perk system. Every time you level up, you pick one ability/ weapon that you want to start with. This will give the player a customized feel of the game. And with this, a weapon/ armor skill tree, to allow for different gameplay styles.
Perhaps the armor and weapon upgrades should actually make the character's outward appearance change.
Thank you MintSphere for the amazing game (and BGM) and please continue to produce amazing works in the future.
You beat the part when the thing is blocking the door, by going into the room with the spikes, waiting for it to get close then hitting the switch. Make sure you duck.
