You have probably never played Cookie Clicker, and have no idea how insanely fast you recoup your losses upon resetting. And the reason your comment was downvoted in the first place was probably because it held little in the way of actual feedback that can help the developers improve the game.

The number shown on the fields when your mouse is over the amulet on the lower left indicates your XP gain as compared to the base gain on the field indicated, therefore a number of 2 on a field indicates you have gained approximately twice the XP gain on said field. Not that what I said is actually helpful. :P
