If you're going to make the game balanced, don't do it in a cheap cop-out way that makes the player feel cheated. Exhibit A - enemy troops can gather in large numbers behind single cover objects, but the player's troops cannot. Totally arbitrary, especially since the original title allowed three squads to take the same cover at once. It would have been less squirrely to have large gatherings of troops cause a reduction in morale on either side, such that balance must be maintained for long-lasting use of cover. However, the introduction of lanes was a good move for this title, and allowed for some more complex mechanics and advanced tactics, even if the campaign is still too short to fully flesh those tactics out (yes, even considering half is unavailable!). I would also have liked to see a random battle feature. I give this game the rank of Lieutenant-General - three stars.

Lotharyx pointed out it doesn't take any fewer shots to kill a basic bunny with the Colt after upgrading its strength. This is because basic bunnies have between 20 and 21 health, so after upgrading from 5 dmg/shot to 6 dmg/shot it still takes four hits to kill them, but at 7 dmg/shot it only takes three. This game is just outright fun to play, especially as the player approaches the endgame. Getting the minigun was extremely satisfying. The final boss was very disappointing, however - basically just one big bullet sponge, and I'm not sure its death wasn't scripted, since it has no visual change as it takes damage, unlike all other enemies. The assistant is a little overpowered in the early levels, but totally unnecessary in the later ones. The UI is missing some quality-of-life stuff but this is a 2009 title so not much can be expected there anyway. The humour is crass and definitely dark but it's good insofar as such humour goes. I give this game four bunny foetuses out of five.

Actually, I want to amend my earlier comment. Turns out if you get hit by a shuriken and the thrower throws at a certain rate or there's more than one thrower, the getting-up animation is longer than the time it takes for the next shuriken to hit, so you literally can't get up. You can't deflect future shurikens or kill the throwers because the animation stops you from typing. This can also happen if a blinding flash occurs whilst the player is downed by a shuriken - you can't see the next one coming so of course you go down again. The more I play, the more issues like this present themselves. Large swathes of ninjas aren't totally wiped out by the Rage of the Wind power, which feels like a cop-out and a denial of satisfaction for no good reason. I originally rated this game three shurikens out of five, but have amended this to one. One buggy shuriken.

I was defeated by the final boss twice because I pressed the wrong keys - fair - but when I pressed the right keys (yes, the right key, which is the right key, twice) the game didn't register my second tap because it was too quick. This is literally the one thing a typing game has to get right. The game itself was okay. It felt pretty empty but this is Andvari's only typing game so it's possible it was their first attempt, and as a first attempt it does its job, barring the above exception.
