For Kraken I used the firebolt to damage it and made sure that the speed of my troops was maxed. My skills were arranged so that I had high def, high att, high speed, and high level firebolt
Fun game. I rated it 5/5 because for what this game tries to be, it does very well. The only changes I would make, in addition to those already mentioned by Eimazein, are a basic attack for your hero at all times, in future games I would suggest starting out with another creature type or two as the game starts off slowly since all you can summon are mice and perhaps some way of commanding your soldiers. By this I mean something small like maybe being able to tell your archers to retreat so they don't walk all the way to the front on defensive missions etc. All in all though this is a very fun game and I particularly enjoyed the way that you could upgrade Paladog. The variety of and speed at which you got the upgrades was amazing.
Great game. Needs more badges and perhaps a couple more worlds. I like the upgrade system though and, if you ever get around to adding more worlds, perhaps you could put in a few new ones so that a player keeps upgrading until the end of the game. I upgraded fully after the second world (I died once on the boss). Amazing game though. 4/5
For 1939, let your planes move ahead a little bit for the first turn. Then move them ahead at full length for the second turn and for the third turn, activate their shields and crisscross the two planes so that they make a complete turn-around on the fourth turn.
If that made any sense to you, that's how I didn't take any damage on that mission.
For the fifth cave just make sure you have many long range units as they will attack the invincible goblin and push him back so he cannot attack your units.
You could mine, or you can buy a hyperspace recharger and run courtier missions for 3k a piece in about 1 minute per. Only do the ones that say 0 sectors to _ sectors. (one way runs)
