I'm not sure if the scaling is the best between town levels 2 and 3. I've been sitting on town 2 for almost 2 days and the warehouses and manager upgrades are just not fast/frequent enough. I hit a point where I just barely cannot reach personal level 3 and I would have to wait days/weeks in order to either (a) buy enough stuff to get requisite employees for a level up or (b) get enough cash to have a big enough paycheck to get another manager upgrade. Might want to speed up this section of the game a little bit. But before this point in the game I thought the scaling was really good.
I think it's still a little unclear how total employees/personal experience works. Also, is there any benefit to moving to another town that's the same level as the current town? I realize that's how to get the fee/payday, but if that's not going to be enough to hire the next manager/make the next investment, then is there no point in switching towns? I guess what I'm asking is: are there any reasons to switch towns apart from unlocking the next town level and unlocking the next manager upgrade?
Actually I'm an idiot, but I finally figured out what's going on. The factories produce material which you need in order to buy warehouses. Warehouses provide the limit to the number of other resources you can store. Got it. But now I kind of agree with other people that the game is a little complicated. Some instructions or a tutorial would definitely help.
Actually it looks like the warehouse stuff was on purpose. I notice that the warehouse and labs work differently when I bought my first lab. And ignore the part about the cogs. I think I just spent them all and forgot.
Something seems wrong. I got 100 material at some point (don't know when). I used it to buy a warehouse. The warehouse started generating money but not more material. Then I got 200 material but I can't buy another warehouse. Also when I bought the first warehouse I think it caused me to lose all of my cogs/gears/metal/whatever it is. I'm not sure what all of this means but it seems like a bug.
It seems kind of lame that the multipliers I bought back in the day are now worthless since the earth has been getting no new updates and all the content is on the moon. Especially since I've maxed everything on earth so there's nothing to do. I think it would be more fun if multipliers carried over to all locations. Please consider making this happen if it's possible.
Can you confirm/deny that reflectors are actually adding the 25% bonus? I added a bunch in my build but I didn't notice the power/second increasing under my blue bar.
I like the new balancing. However: the heat plates now give 1% bonus to the vents no matter what rank they are. I think you should make it so that the lowest heat plate gives +1%, the next highest +10%, etc. Or something like that. It almost feels like a downgrade when I get to the next tear of heating plates, since 10 at the lower tier give +10% but one at the next tier only gives +1%.
Are tokens worth it? In a game where the numbers grow exponentially, +100% for 10 tokens just doubles the DPS right? That's almost like nothing in the long run, unless I'm misunderstanding something. Maybe tokens should be better.
Could you add a display on each stat for completions/second? For example, for enchanting you could add something that says enchantments/second based on the weapon and enchantment selected. That would be helpful for knowing which stats to upgrade next. Right now all I can do is try to estimate based on how fast each bar is moving.
Hello! I noticed that some of the names of the larger numbers are different than the names in the merriam-webster dictionary. What you call "quinquadecillion" they list as just quindecillion; what you call "sedecillion" they list as sexdecillion; and what you call "novendecillion" they list as novemdecillion. In the game the highest I've seen so far is vigintillion and that's about as high as they list. Here's my source: http://www.merriam-webster.com/table/dict/number.htm
Yes, we actually have some conflicting names with other sources as well. We grabbed those names off Wikipedia (I discovered), but we should have double checked other sources. We'll probably change them in the upcoming UI update, but that's still a ways off.
I got all the upgrades but I'm still only able to get about 700-800 of each kind of company, so it's looking like getting all of the achievements is nowhere in sight. Will you be adding more upgrades in the future? Where I'm at I have about 1.5 quadrillion angel investors and I've made a cumulative total of about 120 duodecillion dollars.
Right now there is no point in not calling waves early. In most other games waves come automatically after a fixed time, thus calling early can make the game harder. But in this game you can only call early when the wave is done, therefore there is no downside to calling it early. Thus (1) there should either be no button for calling early and waves should just come automatically one after another, (2) there should be a benefit added to not calling early (don't know what that'd be), or (3) there should also be some other penalty to calling early (don't know what this would be either). Thus there would be a real dilemma/choice to be made, as opposed to calling early being the only logical option.
When I play it is mostly a battle of one-hit KOs. Might be better if it was more balanced so that there would be less of those, and healers would be more relevant.
You only have to change towns if you can buy a manager or move to a higher level :)
